Carole Ann Fry

Carole Ann Fry, age 86, of Doniphan, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024 at Tabitha at Prairie Commons. A celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Rosedale United Methodist Church in Doniphan, Nebraska. Following Carole’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Condolences can be left at www.giallfaiths.com. Carole was born on November 1, 1938 in Chicago, IL to Arthur and Harriet (Brezinski) Raidy. At age 8 the family relocated to Orange County, CA. She attended Fullerton Union High School in Fullerton, CA and graduated in 1957. On July 13, 1957 she was united in marriage to Ralph Fry in Santa Ana, CA. To this union three children were born. The couple later divorced. While Carole was visiting a cousin in Reno, she met Fred Weavers at a black jack table. Meeting him that day was the biggest and best win she ever had at a casino. Fred was a truck driver and Carole was proud to have been able to drive alongside him after getting her CDL. In 1996, she moved to Doniphan. She gave up her corvette for the farm life, and finally was living the life she was meant to live. She loved the small town living and how willing people were to help. Carole attended the Rosedale United Methodist Church. She enjoyed going to the casino, watching Nascar and playing cards, especially Texas Hold’em. Carole cheered on the Seattle Seahawks, then the Pittsburgh Steelers after her favorite quarterback went to play for them. She liked to watch the Food Channel. Her greatest pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. She was so proud of them and blessed to have spent the early years of her children’s lives as a stay-at-home mom. Those left to cherish Carole’s memory include her daughter, Mischelle (David) Weaver of Highland Ranch, CO; sons, Mark (Stephanie) Fry of Wood River and Jeff (Tricia) Weavers of Doniphan; grandchildren, Jason (Lacy) Fry and their children, Noah, Michael and Preston, Christopher (Melissa) Fry and their son, Christopher Jr., Elise Fry and her children, James, Robbie and Ryder, Stevie (Chris) Fry and their son, Lincoln, Mandy Fry (Jason Doolittle) and their children, Austin, Cooper and Sawyer, Danielle Weaver, Kellin Harris and Rachel (Nate) Harris and their children, Benson and Isla and best friends, Karen and Mike Kriss. Carole was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael Fry; husband, Ralph Fry and life partner, Fred Weavers.
