Eileen Beth Ivers

Eileen Beth Ivers, 79, of Grand Island passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026, at Tiffany Square Care Home. Services will be held at 11 a..m. on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at All Faiths Funeral Home. Dan Naranjo will officiate. Eileen Beth Ivers was born July 28, 1947, in Ogallala, NE, the daughter of William H. and Kathryn F. (Cox) Ivers. Eileen is survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Karen Ivers of Loveland, CO and Ron and Ann Ivers of Ogallala, NE; and their three daughters and their spouses, Maria Ivers of The Woodlands, TX, Jill and Michael Nelson of Houston, TX and Allison Bredenkamp of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by three great nephews, Gus Bredenkamp, and Max and Charlie Nelson. She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Sharon Ivers. Eileen was raised and received her education in Ogallala. She moved to Grand Island in 1965 and later went to the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Eileen was a Paralegal for Paine and Paine, Attorneys at Law. Her relationship with Bayard H. Paine, Jr. and Charles B. Paine evolved into a lifelong cherished friendship. During this time, she taught classes in estate administration for Central Community College, after which, she taught classes in law office procedures for Grand Island College. Eileen was a consultant for Curtis and Associates, assisting and motivating individuals in their search for employment. Eileen was active in the community, including Trinity United Methodist Church and Stuhr Museum. Before retirement, she was involved in several national and state professional boards and committees. Eileen was a member of the National Association of Legal Secretaries, including membership on the Certifying Board for the Professional Legal Secretary program for several years. She served on the Continuing Education Council; for three years as Credentials Chairman for National Convention and three terms as member of the Board of Directors. She was a member of Nebraska Association of Legal Secretaries and of Grand Island Legal Secretaries Association. Also, Eileen was a member of Big Sisters of Grand Island, Grand Island YMCA/ YWCA, Grand Island YMCA/YWCA Joint Policies Committee and served as a member of the Stuhr Museum of the Prairie Pioneer Foundation. Eileen and her family request that in lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the donor’s choice, Trinity United Methodist Church or the Central Nebraska Humane Society.
