Michael L. Dickinson

Michael “Mike” L. Dickinson, age 69, of Grand Island, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, January 2nd at 11am at All Faiths Funeral Home with Dan Naranjo officiating. The service will be livestreamed on the funeral home website. A visitation will be held one hour prior. Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation. Condolences can be left at www.giallfaiths.com. Mike was born on February 25, 1956 in Lincoln, NE to Raymond and Nancy (Meves) Dickinson. He grew up in Lincoln, Seward, Grand Island and Fort Collins, CO. While living in Grand Island he attended Senior High. In 1980 he was united in marriage to Rosemary O’Neill. They were blessed with three children Mike, Paul and Bridget. Mike married Terri J. McMullen in 1993 and together they shared 40 wonderful years full of laughter and memories. Mike worked for the railroad and then moved back to Grand Island in the late 70’s. He was employed with Walker Tire, Jack’s Tire and Green’s where he worked up until his retirement in 2021. He often enjoyed stopping in to see the “gang” at Green’s. Mike was the true definition of a gear head. He built and fixed his cars and sometimes even used unusual places like a tree or the living room if he needed additional work areas. Mike was a jack of all trades and could build it or fix it whether a small project or building a shed or garage. He enjoyed dune bugging and mud drags and even better when his kids were there to share in the fun. Mike always had a wonderful sense of humor and could keep those around him smiling and laughing. He loved his children and grandchildren more than anything. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Terri Dickinson; children, Michael (Sara) Ullman of Kansas City, Paul (Christina) Ullman of Omaha and Bridget Wright (Shane Buehler) of Grand Island; grandchildren, Bryce Wright, Charlotte Ullman, Alexsys Wright, Camry Wright, Cleo Ullman, Madeline Ullman and Coraline Ullman; brothers, Steven (Sheila) Dickinson of Treasure Island, FL and Kevin (Jaime) Roenfeldt of Clearwater, FL; his beloved dogs, Winifred and Clyde and cat, Haze and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, in-laws and friends. Mike was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Nancy and Dick Roenfeldt; father, Ray Dickinson; grandparents and mother and father in-law, Jan and Don McMullen.
